Morning Tea and Lunch
Please bring a labelled lunchbox with enough food for morning tea and lunch. An example of a typical lunchbox would be fruit, yoghurt and snacks (muffin, crackers, muesli bar etc.) for morning tea and a sandwich and more snacks for lunch. We encourage a healthy, balanced lunchbox and ask that you please save chocolates, lollies etc for home. We will advise you about any children’s allergies we have at our Service, so that you are able to let us know or label any food in your child’s lunchbox that may contain that food (for the safety of the child with allergies). There is a fridge in each room, so you will not require insulated lunch bags or icepacks.
Drink bottle
Please bring a labelled drink bottle filled with water (we will re-fill these when needed). Each class has their own Water Bottle Trolley where your child can put their drink bottles each day.
Tuckshop
Tuckshop is available each day and can be ordered via the Flexischools Website. Orders will be delivered to the classroom. You can access the menu via Parent Lounge or the College App
Spare Clothes
Please ensure that your child has their Seedlings Backpack and that it contains spare underwear and uniforms in case they get wet or dirty.
Lockers
Each child will have their own locker where they can put their Seedlings backpack each morning.
Hats
Your child will require our Seedlings Bucket Hat every day and will be placed in your child's Hat Pocket. Our lovely staff will wash the hats each week for you.
Library
If your child attends Kindy on Library day (we will advise the timetable at the beginning of the year), you will need to bring them a Library Bag on that day each week. The Navy Rivermount Folders are perfect Library bags and can be re-used the following year in Prep as their Homework or Readers Folder. You can purchase one from our Retail Centre.
Uniform
Uniforms are compulsory and your child is required to abide by the College Personal Appearance and Uniform Policy. This includes wearing the correct RMC socks. Please note that as per our policy, hair longer than the collar must be tied back with school coloured accessories. No jewellery other than plain and small silver or gold studs or sleepers are permitted. No nail polish is permitted. Please read the Uniform Policy to familiarise yourself with the College expectations and guidelines.
Toys and Personal Items
We ask that you do not allow your child to bring any toys from home to avoid your child becoming upset if it gets lost/broken and to avoid any conflicts.
