GET READY FOR 2025 BACK TO SCHOOL PORTAL

Our Community

Rivermount College enjoys an inclusive, dynamic and positive community where parents, staff and students work together and everyone feels welcome.

Our community is built on real connections.

The College appreciates the important partnership between home and school in providing students with a consistent, safe and supportive environment. Parental participation is strongly encouraged, and through active involvement in the life of the College, the relationship between community members is strengthened.

We value transparent and open communication. Through our open-door policy, all College community members are welcomed and encouraged to communicate their concerns and seek clarification and support on College matters.

We strive for inclusivity. Feeling included and learning to include is essential to our community focus, and we aim to achieve this by creating a sustainable culture of belonging.

We cultivate respect. As a community, we encourage all our stakeholders to embrace diversity and develop tolerance, understanding and acceptance.

We foster engagement. Our staff, parents and students are encouraged to connect through shared experiences, opportunities and goals. Interacting together through the learning journey fosters more substantial relationships, a foundation of mutual respect and trust and a shared celebration of success.

Our Community Organisations.

Families and Friends Association:

The development of College spirit and loyalty cannot be realised without the support of the parent body. The College works closely with the Families and Friends Association, an active committee of parents and/or guardians of Rivermount College students. The Association participates in many aspects of College life, including social, sporting and fundraising events.

Past Students Association (Alumni)

Graduates of Rivermount College can remain connected members of the school community through participation in events, providing support to the co-curricular program and through organised reunions.
