About Rivermount College

Rivermount College is a leading educational institution in the northern Gold Coast and Logan region, providing modern and well-equipped learning and recreational facilities set amongst a lush and natural landscape.

Established in 1992, the College offers a non-denominational, co-educational Christian education for students from Kindy to Year 12. The College campus is situated on 32 hectares bordering the banks of the Albert River at Yatala, Queensland.

In 2025, the College has 1050 students across the Primary School (Kindy to Year 6) and Secondary School (Year 7 to Year 12). The legal entity under which the College operates is Rivermount Education Limited, a public company limited by guarantee and administered by a Board of Directors.

Our campus at Yatala is conveniently located halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with easy access to the M1 both north and southbound. We are proud of our positive reputation as a caring community, encouraging students to realise their full potential. Enrolments are drawn from an extensive catchment including the northern Gold Coast to Jacobs Well, Mount Tamborine to South Brisbane and Logan suburbs such as Logan Village, Waterford, Edens Landing, Beenleigh and further north to Springwood, Rochedale and Mt Cotton.

The single campus at Yatala provides learning opportunities from Kindy to Year 12. Our Seedlings Kindergarten is a popular entry point for families joining the community and offers a strong transition program into the Prep year and formal schooling. Currently, the College provides 3 streams from Prep to Year 6 and 4 streams from Year 7 to Year 12.

Our Alumni remain actively engaged in the community with many graduates seek employment as well as enrolment for their own families.

The College employs over 180 teaching, administration, ancillary and support staff. Rivermount staff are highly motivated and dedicated to providing excellent services, and many choose to enrol their children and grandchildren in the College.

Our spacious and well-maintained grounds include a multipurpose hall with facilities for indoor sports, assemblies, the performing arts and community events, several sporting ovals and courts, a 25-metre swimming pool, gymnasium, a campground and a nationally renowned cross-country course. Learning facilities include a state-of-the-art Technology Centre, dedicated Visual Art studio and Science laboratories, Library, Hospitality Centre and Senior Hub. Staff have access to many of the facilities and recreational spaces on campus.
