Rivermount College enjoys a dynamic and positive community where parents, staff and students work in close relationship.
The College values the important partnership between home and school in providing a consistent and encouraging environment with mutual support for its students. Parental support and participation are strongly encouraged and through active parental involvement in the life of the College the relationship between community members is strengthened.
It is the aim of the College to provide transparent and open communication to its members. The Head of Secondary, along with all staff, provides an open door policy where all members of the College community are welcomed and encouraged to communicate their concerns and to seek clarification and support on College matters.
The Head of Secondary School will support active, positive, and regular communication and liaison through meetings, phone calls, digital correspondence and personal contact with parents and guardians.
Families and Friends Association:
The development of College spirit and loyalty cannot be realised without the support of the parent body. The College works closely with the Families and Friends Association, an active committee of parents and/or guardians of students attending Rivermount College. The Association participates in many aspects of College life including social, sporting and fundraising events.
Past Students Association (Alumni)
Graduates of Rivermount College are able to remain connected members of the school community through participation in events, providing support to the co-curricular program and through organised reunions.
