Year 6 Camp 2023

Our Year 6 cohort recently engaged in an adventure full of challenges and camaraderie. The three-day camp at beautiful Mapleton in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, nurtured the values of mateship, leadership and collaboration.

The Year 6 students and teachers enjoyed an array of pursuits, which included a crate climb, flying fox, swimming pool activities, canoeing, orienteering and an Indigenous TribalLink Dance and storytelling session.

A highlight of the camp was the messy, yet memorable, mud challenge. Students rallied together to work around the course of slippery surfaces, getting their hands dirty as they strengthened their teamworking skills.

The camp was a fun and rewarding experience for our new Primary school leaders, with the cohort building a strong rapport with each other and learning the value of leading by example.
