On Friday 12 March, the Year 12 students kicked back with a pool party and movie night! Our evening was full of fun, laughter, and teamwork. The beautiful weather in the afternoon was ideal for a quick dip in the pool, where we had floaties, pool noodle wars and jousting competitions. Mr Rob Mulder even joined in on the fun.
After working up an appetite, it was time for some delicious home-cooked nachos thanks to the outstanding Mrs Suzy Knapper. This was a chance to kick back, eat with our friends and toss a ball around.
After our food coma, we moved to the hall and finished our evening with a movie on the big screen. We set up our bean bags, blankets, pillows and many snuggled down in their PJ’s and enjoyed each other’s company watching the film Mr and Mrs Smith. Our amazing teachers treated us like we were in Gold Class and brought us popcorn with skittles and chocolate upon request. Mr Brown even provided us ice blocks, as the movie stage area was very hot.
The
night was a memorable Year 12 experience, and we cannot wait for many more
evenings to spend together.
