Volleyball Club serves up some fun

The College recently staged a friendly Volleyball carnival against students from Ormeau Woods State High School to provide our Volleyball Club members some valuable game time experience in preparation for the upcoming GBC season and the All Schools Cup competition. Students from both schools shared the duties of playing, refereeing and scoring which was a fantastic opportunity to learn and participate in all facets of the game. The RMC squad consisted of two boys’ teams and two girls’ teams of students from Years 9 to 12.

Volleyball Club is a great initiative for students to participate in to help further develop their skills and experience. Throughout the carnival, all students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship with players from both schools cheering and encouraging one another. The event was a huge success with an incredible atmosphere and great camaraderie amongst the participants.
