With a sky full of sun and an atmosphere of fun, our Primary students recently enjoyed two splendid days at the College pool for their Interhouse Swimming Carnival and Water Fun Day.
Students from Year 3 to Year 6 represented their Houses and revelled in some friendly competition against their peers at the swimming carnival. The day’s official events ended with the ‘Dash for a Prize’ competition where the eight fastest swimmers, from ages 8 to 12 years, battled it out for a prize. Congratulations to the top three students, Evelina Volz, Ryan Ferris and Abel Buckard.
The Prep to Year 2 cohorts enjoyed their day of festivities with some wet and wild fun in and outside of the pool. Activities included a giant inflatable waterslide, cup relay races, a slip and slide course, swimming challenges, and lots of pool time. College staff joined in for a swimming relay race to cool down at the end of the day.
It was great to see so many smiling faces across both days and all Primary students should be congratulated for their efforts.
