The annual Kokoda Challenge, held on the Gold Coast, attracts hundreds of enthusiastic participants and this year, the College has doubled the number of representatives ready to take on the challenge. Comprising students and teachers, the 10 RMC teams will pack their hiking equipment and head to the beautiful Hinterland on Saturday 15 July to participate in the physically and mentally demanding two-day event. Competitors will hike the 30 kilometre course with one team of determined College trekkers committed to completing the longer 48 kilometre event.
Funds raised from sponsored participants will be donated to the Kokoda Youth Foundation; an organisation committed to engaging and inspiring young Australians to reach their full potential through a range of organised Youth Programs.
Students and staff have been training hard for the event and we wish them all the best with completing the Challenge and reaching their fundraising goals.
