Rivermount College is delighted to celebrate the upcoming Tokyo Olympics with a cultural display at the Beenleigh Library.
The College is currently showcasing an array of student work from Kindergarten to Year 12. The display includes a beautiful mix of traditional Japanese inspired art, writing tasks and cultural paraphernalia. It also includes five life-size Koinobori Origami installations and a video compilation featuring Children's Day, an important national holiday in Japan that celebrates children, personalities, respect, and happiness.
The display is open for viewing until Sunday 8 August. The Beenleigh Library is located at Crete Street and is open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday's from 9.00am until 1.00pm.
