2022 Australian Age Diving Championships

With over 160 divers across Australia competing in the 2022 Australian Age Diving Championships, Year 7 Rivermount College student, Jack Van Dam competed exceptionally well across all his events.

Winning 3rd place in his 3m synchronised event, Jack was also able to secure 4th place in the 5m springboard and 5th in the 1m and 3m springboard events. While sharing how proud she was, Jack’s mother Jo spoke of the motivation Jack found while competing at this event. “This competition has seen a renewed fire in his belly to hopefully one day reach Olympic Standard," she said.

With his newfound motivation, Jack is excited and looking forward to the future. The College wishes Jack all the best in future competitions and would like to congratulate him on these incredible achievements.
