Leadership Ready: Year 5 Camp Prepares our 2025 Leaders

Our Year 5 cohort had an exhilarating three-day experience at the Maroochy Waterfront Camp and Conference Centre. With the aim of preparing for their upcoming roles as leaders of the Primary School in 2025, the students enjoyed immersing themselves in activities designed to enhance their leadership skills and focus on resilience, collaboration, and communication.

The weather and location provided the perfect opportunity for the students to try their hand at kayaking, paddle boarding, human sponge relays, and fishing. Other camp highlights included some hilarious lessons on dining etiquette, perfectly showcased by the teachers on camp, a night of music and dancing at the camp disco, the spacious cabins with comfortable beds and views of the Maroochy River, and a plethora of tasty food!

The camp was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication of the staff and helpers who ensured a memorable experience for all participants.
