Our Year 6 cohort recently enjoyed a challenging and exciting three-day adventure at their Year 6 Camp. Held at Mapleton on the Sunshine Coast, the nature-based venue offered students the opportunity to immerse themselves in an array of fun activities on the ground, in the air and on the water, including rope challenges, zip lining, slip ‘n’ sliding and archery.
During the camp, the students also experienced plenty of team building activities such as the crate climb challenge, building bridges, the epic mud challenge, and bonding around the campfire. Every activity was tackled with determination and enthusiasm resulting in wonderful memories for the students.
The rewarding adventure presented our new Primary school leaders with invaluable lessons and a profound understanding of the value of companionship and leading with integrity.
A special thank you to the staff and volunteers who assisted with organisation of the camp.
