Timeless fairytales, mystery novels and adventure stories were among the many books donated and swapped as part of our Great Book Swap. Students from Kindy through to Year 12 participated in the event by donating their books, along with a gold coin donation, to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
The Indigenous Literacy Foundation works across Australia to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The organisation supports communities by providing culturally relevant books, including early learning books, resources and support for communities to create and publish their stories in their language.
Thank you to all students who participated in our inaugural Great Book Swap. It was a great success showcasing the generosity of our students and school community.
