Clean Up Australia Day 2023 | Step Up to Clean Up

Rivermount College is a proud supporter of Clean Up Australia Day. This wonderful initiative inspires communities to work together to clean up the environment, live more sustainably and make a positive difference to the planet for generations to come. Through involvement in this initiative, students acknowledge ownership of their environmental footprint, create awareness and remind our community of the positive contribution we can all make.

This year, Clean Up Australia Day was officially held on Sunday 5 March. In support of the program, an eager group of secondary students, ventured to the Eagleby Wetlands and Ormeau Skate Park to do their bit for the local environment. Back on campus, our Kindy to Year 6 students enthusiastically donned their safety gloves and with garbage bags in hand, they spent their Friday afternoon ensuring our beautiful grounds were rubbish free.
