The College's 1 to 1 Laptop Program was established in 2019 to support and enhance student learning in both the classroom and home environments. The program provides a cost-effective, reliable and safe technology option and ensures all students within the Secondary School are learning on the same platform.
Required by students in Year 7 to Year 12, the commercial-grade Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e laptop device comes equipped with a full suite of software applications used by students to engage proactively with College curriculum. The addition of JacPlus (Jacaranda) to the program also allows students to utilise digital textbooks across core subject areas.
The College has invested significantly in Family Zone, a cyber safety management program that enables filtering across the full technology landscape. This program supports the work of the College Wellbeing Team, allowing them to keep up to date with student behaviours and trends online.
